AT5510 Transportation Tag
FEATURES
• Stores up to 20 six-bit alphanumeric characters of data (120 bits) that
may be programmed either at the factory or in the field using the AP4110 Programmer.
• The AT5510 tag circuits are energized by a small lithium battery compliant
with U.S. DOT 49 CFR § 173.185 (i) and ICAO (international) regulations
for unrestricted shipment.
• Integral battery power improves the responsiveness of the AT5510 tag permitting
reliable performance at distances of up to 11 m (35 ft). Actual range depends
on system parameters.
• Average useful tag life of 10 years under continuous use. Battery life
is not affected by the number of times the tag is read or by RF fields from other
sources.
The AT5510 transportation tag is a multifrequency, battery
powered field disturbance device used in applications requiring
long range operation and exposure to harsh environmental
conditions.
The AT5510 can be used for intermodal containers, commercial vehicle operations,
and equipment identification.
The AT5510 encodes the signal received from a
SmartPass reader system with an identification number or a data message
The encoded signal is reflected (backscattered) back to the
SmartPass reader system.
The AT5110 can be read by AI1200, AI1300, AI1400, and AI1600
